Goulishly Healthy Halloween Snacks
With all the sweets and candy the kids get at Halloween, you want them to eat healthy too. Healthy food can still be fun! Here are a few ideas for those lunchbox and after school snack.
Dip the pretzel rods in white chocolate dyed green and add a sliced almond fingernail. Use a toothpick to add the knuckles.
Wrap hotdogs snug and tight in crescent biscuit dough. Bake until light brown.
Mustard dots serve as eyes.
Cut cheese slices in strips without slicing all the way through. Wrap around a pretzel stick or rod. Tie with a twisty tie or string for cute broomsticks.
PUMPKIN FLUFF DIP
1 ¼ tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 16-oz. container frozen whipped topping
1 5-oz. package vanilla instant pudding
Chill in the refrigerator until serving. Serve with ginger snaps, vanilla wafers, or cinnamon graham crackers.
Slice Granny Smith apples. Spread peanut butter or hazelnut butter on each side. For teeth, use yogurt-covered raisins or almonds and squish together for a healthy treat.
